We'd love to meet you!
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Darwin North ...
We are a diverse group of men and women, donating their passion and time to a common goal - to run projects large and small to benefit our community, while at the same time enjoying the cameraderie.
Some members are in the workforce and enjoy Rotary membership as a personal outlet away from the routine of a work week and the networking opportunities. Others are retired and love the social nature & community spirit of Rotary.
Rotarians worldwide enjoy Rotary and serve the organisation under the motto of Service Above Self.
Beyond our charitable projects, members meet fortnightly at the Darwin Trailer Boat Club
1st and 3rd Monday evening of each month. 6pm for dinner and or 7pm for the meeting (excluding public holidays)
This is a social way for people to mix, hear a high quality guest speaker and get up to speed with things happening around our club and Rotary in general.
At times, we have visitors from overseas clubs drop in to enjoy the world wide fellowship Rotary offers. Or our members this can be a fascinating way to hear what Rotarians around the world are doing. Of course, our own members reciprocate if travelling overseas, by visiting other clubs. This is the way of Rotary, and a magnificent way to make new friends.
Our website offers you an insight into Rotary life. Some members have busy lives and dedicate a little time. Others invest many hours. Rotary offers members many opportunities and enables you the chance to get involved at a level that suits your lifestyle and in projects that match your interest and personality.
